The audioguide on the Moselle Cycle Path
Listen carefully! - Listen to some stories along the Moselle Cycle Path
Exciting discoveries amongst vineyards and wine-growing villages
There are 40 reasons to get off your bike for a short listening break on the Moselle Cycle Path to get to know the Moselle.
The new audio tour listening stations on the 240-kilometre route from Saarland Perl to Deutsches Eck in Koblenz encourage you to take a closer look and to keep your eyes open for surprising discoveries along the way:
Cyclists can find out where the Romans once tread Moselle wine. They will discover what the mysterious white ring of Bischofstein Castle and the largest pharmacy in the world are all about. They can listen to the great crested grebe and keep a lookout for the mythical tatzelwurm and the wine witch. They can immerse themselves in how life was lived in a Roman estate and peer over the shoulder of a lock keeper at work.
Secrets and anecdotes
In both an entertaining and very personal way, reporter Marco and the Moselle locals demonstrate exciting background knowledge on interesting points along the way to cycle tourists.
Vintners, cultural and wine ambassardors, historical experts and tour guides contribute their specialist knowledge, uncover many a secret, and tell stories and anecdotes.
Download the free listening tour app before your bike tour! The app offers a tour map with routes and an overwiew of all listening stations.
