Weekly market in the district of Kobern
In southern countries we like to visit them, the weekly markets. So what still works there today is what worked here decades ago and for centuries: that regional traders offer and sell their fresh goods and products on regional markets.
In times of discounters, however, such markets are unfortunately only rarely to be found. However, the trend is increasingly going back there - towards food from the region - so we want to try to establish a continuous weekly market with regional products on the historic market square in Kobern. Five regional retailers have now been found who will be offering their products on the marketplace every Wednesday from 16.00 to 19.00 on 16 May 2018. So far, the range has included organic fruit and vegetables, Mediterranean delicacies, mountain cheese and ham, game specialities and wine.
The range is to be expanded in the future to include more attractive products.
