On the Roman wine route, the Wein & Tafelhaus Oos in Trittenheim is one of the top addresses (Alexander Oos, 1 Michelin star, 16 Gault Millau points). And on the Middle Moselle, there are two top restaurants: Thomas Schanz´s schanz.restaurant in Piesport (1 Michelin star, 15 Gault Millau points) and Sascha Hamp’s Culinarium R in Mülheim an der Mosel (15 Gault Millau points). Just a few kilometres away in the Waldhotel Sonnora in Dreis, three Michelin star chef Helmut Thieltges conjures up food of the highest level of excellence, which is also acknowledged with 19.5 Gault Millau points.
